The reason why I have chosen this particular magazine is becuase although it is high key lighting there is still some shadows where her hair is, I like this becuase it emphasises her eyes and makes her the center of attention. I can also tell that Amy is the center of attention because her facial expression shows determination and her eyes show certaincy with them being fixed at the camera. the expression that Amy is showing is Invitational, this is where the mouth tends to be shut with a hint of a smile. These are all really good idea and could be possible ideas for the front cover of my magazine.
I have also chosen this magazine because the wrighting used is big and bold for example the words 'AMY' are bigger than the actual title of the magazine, this suggests and shows that this magazine is all about Amy Winehouse.
I think the layout of this magazine is a very good idea because its easy to read and everything is spaced out and not all huddled together like other magazines. the sub-headings on this front cover
